I grew up in Bamako, Mali, and built my career in France. I speak English, French, Bambara and Diakois. I started as a sysadmin at Orange, then worked as a DevOps engineer on high-performance computing at Société Générale. After that I spent six years at Datadog as a Sales Engineer, helping companies from small startups to CAC40 groups with observability and security.

I’ve been an Enterprise Sales Engineer at Chainguard since September 2025. I work with platform and security teams on their container images and their software supply chain. What I enjoy most is explaining things, taking something complex and making it clear for the people who have to live with it. Sometimes that’s an engineer, sometimes it’s someone with seven minutes before their next meeting.

I like tech in general, so outside of work I experiment a lot. These days it’s mostly AI: open-source models, agents, and the chatbot on this site that answers questions about me. Most of it runs on a Raspberry Pi cluster and a Mac Studio in my apartment, which is a nice place to be wrong without anyone noticing. I also co-lead the AWS User Group Bamako, my way of staying connected to where I come from.
